1Who we are
AfterTheyClick is the trade name of AFTERTHEYCLICK MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY SERVICES, a sole proprietorship owned by Franz Christian J. Brecio. The business name is registered with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and the business is registered with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Revenue District Office 25B (East Bulacan), as a VAT-registered taxpayer.
Our registered business address is 130 Interior 2 Timog Road, Caingin, City of Meycauayan, Bulacan 3020, Philippines. We provide management consulting and advertising services to resorts, boutique hotels, private stays and owner-led service businesses in the Philippines.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean AfterTheyClick. "You" means the business that uses this website or our services, and the person acting for it.
2What these terms cover
These terms apply when you use this website, take the free After-Click Check, or hire us. Our Privacy Policy and our Refund and Cancellation Policy are part of these terms.
If we both sign a written agreement for your work, that agreement wins wherever it differs from these terms. Your accepted written quote comes next, then these terms.
Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under Philippine law that cannot be given up by contract.
3The free After-Click Check
The After-Click Check is free and comes with no obligation to hire us. It is two calls with Franz, with an audit of your business in between.
- Call one. Your business, your year and what you want from it.
- Between the calls. We audit your business with the numbers you choose to share, such as bookings and bills by month, your rates and where inquiries come from, and build your scorecard. Totals and summaries are enough. Please don't send guest names, guest messages or copies of IDs for the check. If guest details are ever needed later, we ask first and sign a written data agreement before you share them. With your go-ahead, we may also send an inquiry the way a guest would, through the channels you show the public; we never make, hold or pay for real bookings while doing so.
- Call two. Your scorecard, the actual bottleneck, what changes if you fix it, and your options. If you want our help, a written quote.
If we test an inquiry, you decide whether to tell your team. The findings and the scorecard report from the check are yours to keep, whether or not you hire us.
4Quotes and the work
If you want help after the check, we send a written quote built around what your business needs. The work usually takes one of these shapes:
- The Read-out. A full diagnostic of your business and a written plan you can run yourself.
- The Fix. One bottleneck fixed with your team over about 90 days, proven in your own numbers.
- The Year. A 12-month engagement, lean season to lean season. Marketing is included once the basics are fixed.
Each quote states the scope, the timeline, the price, the VAT and when payments are due, and says whether the work is a fixed fee or a monthly fee. We don't publish prices on this website, because they depend on your business.
Nothing starts and nothing is billed until you accept the quote in writing. A reply by email is enough. Any change to the scope, and any change in price, is agreed in writing before we do the extra work.
5Fees, VAT and invoices
We are registered for value-added tax (VAT). Every quote shows our fee, the 12% VAT and the total, in Philippine pesos, so you know the full amount before anything starts.
We issue a VAT invoice that meets BIR rules for every payment we receive. Under the Ease of Paying Taxes Act, invoices have replaced official receipts. A confirmation from your bank, card or e-wallet shows that you paid; it is not the tax invoice, which we send separately. To issue it, we need your registered business name, address and Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN).
If the law requires your business to withhold tax on our fees, you may deduct it from your payment. Please send us BIR Form 2307 (Certificate of Creditable Tax Withheld at Source) for the amount withheld, so we can credit it.
6Payment
Your quote and invoice say how and when to pay. You can pay by bank transfer, or by card or e-wallet through our online payment provider. The payment provider handles card and e-wallet details; we never see or store your full card number.
Fixed-fee work is paid on the schedule in your quote. Monthly work is billed monthly in advance, at the start of each month of service.
If a payment is overdue, we remind you in writing. If it stays unpaid, we may pause the work until it's settled, and we tell you before we pause anything.
7Ad spend and other costs
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you pay advertising and marketing budgets (for example, paid ads) directly to the platforms or providers, from accounts in your business's name. Our fees do not include that spend.
You approve each ad and offer before it runs. The platforms set their own rules and can reject, limit or stop ads on their own.
If the work needs software or a subscription, we list it and its cost in the quote before anything is bought. Those accounts are in your business's name, so they stay with you if we stop working together.
8What you provide
To do good work, we need a few things from you:
- Access to the accounts and tools the agreed work needs. You can remove our access at any time.
- Accurate information about your rates, availability, inclusions and policies.
- Answers and approvals in reasonable time. The timeline in a quote assumes this, so delays on either side move it.
- Photos, logos, text and other material that you have the right to use.
- Permission to share any personal data of your guests or staff that you give us, for example because your own privacy notice to them covers it.
You remain responsible for your own business: your permits and accreditations, your prices and promotions (including any permit a promotion needs), what is promised to your guests, and how your team uses what we set up.
9Results
We work to improve how your inquiries are answered, how many of them become bookings, and how your year is planned, and we report what happens honestly, including when something doesn't work.
Bookings and revenue also depend on things we don't control, such as demand, weather, your prices, your competitors and the rules of the platforms. So we do not guarantee a number of bookings, a level of revenue or a particular ad result. Numbers shown on this website as examples are labelled as examples and are not promises.
10Who owns the work
What we do for each client is custom: it depends on what your business needs. So is what you take away. This is how ownership works unless your quote says otherwise.
Yours. Once paid for, the work made specifically about your business and brand: your findings and plan, the copy and message templates written in your voice, your ad creative and landing pages. These terms are our written agreement to that, including the copyright. Your accounts, data, photos and brand stay yours the whole time.
Ours. The scorecard as a tool and format, our tools, templates, checklists, methods and know-how, including the versions we set up or used for you. While we work together, you may use them in your business. What carries on after the work ends, such as a scorecard that keeps updating, is set out in your quote, because every engagement is built around what your business needs.
Material that belongs to others, such as stock photos, fonts or platform features, stays under its owner's licence.
Comparisons across properties. We may combine business figures from many properties, such as occupancy, rates and booking patterns by season, into anonymous benchmarks that show owners how they compare. Benchmarks never name you, never identify your property and never include any guest's personal information. If you would rather your figures stay out, tell us and we will leave them out.
Case studies. Your quote asks whether we may share the work as a case study. We only name you as a client or publish your results if you say yes in writing.
11Confidentiality and data
We keep your business information, your guests' information and your results confidential, and use them only to do the work you hired us for and, without anything that identifies you, for the anonymous benchmarks in section 10. Anyone who helps us with your work is bound by the same duty, and the duty continues after our work ends.
This doesn't cover information that is already public, that you allow us to share, or that the law, a court or a government agency requires us to disclose.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Before you share any records that contain your guests' personal data, we sign a written data processing agreement with you, and we then act only on your instructions for that data.
12Agreeing by email
Quotes, acceptances, approvals, invoices and notices may be sent by email. Under the Electronic Commerce Act, they are as valid between us as signed paper.
We send notices to the email address you use with us. Please send yours to contact@aftertheyclick.com. Franz answers personally, and we reply to messages within one business day.
13Ending the work and refunds
You can end monthly work with 30 days' written notice, and you can cancel fixed-fee work at any time in writing. Payments for work we haven't started are refunded within 14 business days after the work ends. Work already delivered is not refunded. The free check costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund.
We may end the work with written notice if a payment stays unpaid after we've reminded you, or if we are asked to do something unlawful or misleading. Whenever we end the work, we refund anything you paid for work we haven't done.
The full details are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
14Liability
We do our work with care. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with our services is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
This limit never applies to loss caused by our fraud, bad faith or gross negligence, or to anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
We are not responsible for losses caused by third-party platforms (such as ad networks, messaging apps, booking engines or payment providers), by information you gave us that turned out to be wrong, or by events outside anyone's reasonable control, such as typhoons, floods, power or internet outages, or government orders.
15Disputes and governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
If something goes wrong, please tell us in writing first. We will both try in good faith to settle it, and most problems are fixed faster that way. If we can't settle it, the dispute will be brought before the proper courts of Bulacan.
This doesn't stop you from going to a government agency where the law allows, such as the Department of Trade and Industry or the National Privacy Commission.
16Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The dates at the top of this page show the current version. Changes apply from the date shown and don't affect a quote or agreement you have already accepted, unless we both agree in writing.
